Key to Metals website operates on Microsoft Windows Server with Internet Information Services (running ASP.NET) and Microsoft SQL Server as the database service provider.
Total Materia Premium Edition
Exclusive for APA users, includes data and functionality of the following Total Materia modules: Total Metals, Extended Range, eXporter and PolyPLUS.

- PolyPLUS: Property data for thousands of non-metallic materials including polymers, ceramics and composites.
- eXporter: Ability to import advanced property data from Total Materia into OptiStruct and RADIOSS.
Total Materia HyperMesh Edition
Gain access to Total Materia data from within the HyperMesh environment. Search from over 320,000 materials and find data including mechanical and physical properties, stress strain data, and fatigue information for direct import in OptiStruct format into selected material cards. The second development phase will also include RADIOSS.
Modules and Products Not Currently Available Through the APA
SmartComp: Metal identification by chemical composition obtained from spectrometer or other analytical sources for unknown materials. Useful for failure analysis, reverse engineering and a range of quality assessment activities.
eXporter: Although export in the APA version can be carried out, this is limited to Optistruct (Radioss will also be completed in 2016). eXporter in the Key to Metals AG production version allows export of standard and advanced property data for metals and non-metals and in a range of other solver formats including Abaqus, ANSYS, ESI ProCAST, ESI Pam-Crash, FEMAP, KTM XLS, KTM XML, LS-DYNA, MSC Nastran, PTC Creo, Radioss, Siemens NX, SolidEdge, and SolidWorks.
Total Materia Integrator: New software for creating a private company database of material information, whether it be internal standards and regulations, test data or external data sources.
